Del Webb’s Williamson County Project

Part Five of our ‘Progress & Future in Williamson County’ Series

Del Webb’s Williamson County Project is turning a few heads and many believe the community will be in high demand. According to the County’s 1st quarter report and an article by the Nashville Business Journal, the population of the area is highly marketable to an aging population and those looking to retire.

Del Webb, a retirement-community developer and subsidiary of home-builder Pulte Group Inc., plans to provide a place for people looking to spend their later years in middle Tennessee. Success with family and single housing in the area leads many realtors to believe that the proposition will take off. Smaller retirement centers like Morning Pointe are doing well in the county so why not take it one step further?

Our current focus on quality of life and the vast opportunities for leisure, historical learning and comfort within the Williamson County communities is drawing people’s attention from all over the world. Mt. Juliet’s Lake Providence helped propel that area into a hot market, the only difference here is the increase cost of land.

Do you think your community is interesting for those wanting to retire? Tell us why now.

  1. Simple: quality of life . In a resort type living. I plan to make the last quarter of the game, the most interesting and fun with my baby boomer friends in one of the most desirable towns in the US. So excited! I never thought I would leave here, but Del Webb offers too much to stay here!. Plus top notch healthcare, entertainment…win/win.

  2. currently living in the del webb lake providence (mt juliet)..it’s very nice and has a lot to offer, but this type of environment does take a little getting used to. It’s not for everyone. Lake Providence is beautiful. They’ve done a wonderful job on landscaping.
