Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) won with defense and the long runs of Chip Omar against Knoxville Catholic at Vanderbilt on Friday night.
The Lions Price Perdue scored on a 77-yard interception return a couple minutes into the game, and put CPA on its way to a 38-10 win.
Perdue caught one more interception and overall CPA caused four turnovers on the night. The Lions (2-0) didn’t even allow any points until the fourth quarter, when the second string was in.
A Balance Between O and D
Chip Omar had his share of highlights for the CPA offense. Omar scored on runs of 79 and 80 yards. He gained his 169 yards on just 6 rushes.
Zack Weatherly certainly pulled his weight passing the ball, going 14-20 for 149 yards and a TD.
He added a 47-yard touchdown run.

CPA plays White House Heritage at home on Friday.
