When Corner Pub came to Franklin about a year ago, many Pub traditions came along with it. Friendly service, quality food, and Smokin’ Mondays just to name a few. For those that haven’t buried themselves into the wonderful, smokey goodness that come off the smoker at 1916 Columbia Avenue, you have missed an almost religious experience. Whole and Half Chickens, melt in your mouth ribs, and wings are always on the Monday menu. Serve it up with a couple of homemade sides and it is sure to become a Monday must.
Smoking begins early Monday morning and by 3-4 o’clock it’s serving time. The fact that it coincides with a generous Happy Hour is a bonus, or maybe you want to bring the family down for Live Trivia later on in the evening.
We got a chance to visit with Mr. Rippy on the history of the Corner Pub and talk to the staff about Smokin’ Monday.
