Columbia State Community College’s Pryor Art Gallery has announced a call for entries to “Rock Paper Scissors,” a juried art exhibit and craft festival.

Artisans are asked to submit an entry form and an image of the pottery, glasswork, sculptures in metal, rock or leather, or any other fine craftwork and media by Dec. 5.

A guest juror will judge the submissions for the exhibit. It will run from Jan. 11 – Feb. 16. Craft Festival Day will be held Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. to celebrate and sell arts and crafts.

“Sometimes it is difficult to draw the line of what is fine art and craft,” said Michele Wilkinson, Pryor Art Gallery curator. “Rock Paper Scissors gives our talented artisans a stage to share their creative crafts. Treat yourself to beautiful pieces of art and handcrafts here.”

Artisans will be notified by Dec. 12 if their work has been accepted into the exhibit. There will be a $20 entry fee per artist if the work has been accepted.

For entry forms and submission information, contact Michele Wilkinson at [email protected].

The Pryor Art Gallery is in the Waymon L. Hickman Building on the Columbia Campus located at 1665 Hampshire Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. For additional information, sales information and for the detailed deadline calendar, please visit www.Columbia State.edu/PryorGallery or contact Michele Wilkinson at 931-540-2883.
