Detailed information, including the amazing line-up of vendors, music, and special events will be coming soon on the website.”

As we learn more details about the upcoming shows, we will update our story here.  Until then,  mark you calendars for June 19th – 20th and October 16th-17th.

Here are our story from the show back in October.

We were on hand to see the first of its kind, a burlap red carpet experience at the 2nd annual City Farmhouse Pop Up Show.  Kim Leggett says, ” it took everyone a minute to get the hang of it,  but in the end everyone had a great time.”

And only in Music City would there be a singing contest for the best rendition of Rocky Top. Very appropriate since the songwriter lives just down the road from the Buddy Killen Mansion.   Did we mention that there were mimosas?

Heading out to the City Farmhouse Pop Up Show this weekend?  Take a look at our tips and must dos at the show.

Wear Comfortable Shoes!  The show has doubled in size from 75 vendors to 150 vendors, you will be walking quite a bit.

Take Pictures of Items You Might Want to Purchase – It is a very large show and it could be difficult to find that treasure later.

Looking for Food and Drink?  There are food trucks- Slow Hand Coffee, Puckett’s, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Bradley Ice Cream, just to name a few.

Meet the Guest Authors Nina Hartman and Matthew Mead.  There is a table located outside the Buddy Killen mansion where you can purchase their book.  This is Nina’s seventh time in the US but her first time to visit “the country” she stated and “what a beautiful place.”

Go Inside the Buddy Killen mansion for the Folk and Folly Exhibit-  Before heading out to the show, download the  app called Layar.  With this app, you can scan the information page outside the rooms to instantly like the designer’s Facebook page or website.  You can also instantly tweet from the app about your experience at the show.

An absolute must do- Visit the Secret Gardens.  Just behind the mansion is an oasis of a retreat provided by Creative Stone Landscaping.  Take a walk thru the perfectly manicured arched vines.  You will not want to miss the opportunity for a photo here.

If you need any more convincing to come out and enjoy the day, take a look at our slideshow to see our incredible finds.  Thanks so much to City Farmhouse for inviting us out to enjoy the festivities this morning.  See you next year!
