Charles Esten Talks About the Light the Night Event

Charles Esten, from the hit show “Nashville” (who plays Deacon) takes part in the “Light the Night” Walk each year in Nashville.

It’s been 14 years since his daughter, Addie, was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of two. On Friday night, beginning at 5:30 pm, the Light the Night Walk will take place, beginning at Nissan Stadium and crossing the pedestrian bridge.


Esten is the national chairman for the annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night” walks held across the country. He’ll be leading “Team Addie” and hundreds of others, touched by this disease.

There will also be a late night concert at 3rd & Lindsley where Esten and Friends will take part in raising money for Leukemia and Lymphoma. Doors open at 9:15, concert begins at 10pm. Tickets are still available online for just $65.
