Centennial Spikes Coaching Hire

Centennial High School announced the hiring of Erin Diani-O’Day as their new head volleyball coach Thursday night.

O’Day makes the move to Centennial from Lutheran Saint Charles High School in the St. Louis area. She has an overall coaching record of 132-75-10.

While at St. Lutheran, her team finished in the Missouri Elite 8 three consecutive years between 2012 and 2014. She also led the Cougars to four-consecutive district and conference championships from 2011 to 2014, being named AAA Conference Coach of the Year each of those four years.

She has also coached for the Rockwood Volleyball Club as well as St. Charles Xplosion Volleyball Club.

O’Day is a graduate of Lindenwood University and is married to Ben O’Day, who is the Technical Director for Alliance Volleyball Club in Franklin.

Centennial is the second school to hire a new volleyball coach in Williamson County over the last seven days as Ravenwood named their new head coach March 6.
