Country Singer and Songwriter, Carmen Brandy, is releasing a new single October 24th titled “Sycamore Tree” which coincides with Brandy’s birthday turning 16 this year. Then on October 29th, Brandy will have a single release premiere where she will perform ” Sycamore Tree” at Franklin Puckett’s beginning 7:30 along with other originals and covers.
In addition to the single release, Brandy will also release her first music video for “Sycamore Tree.” Brandy said that she is very thrilled about the release of her new single and video since it’s been over a year since her last EP was recorded at Sony Tree Studios, in Nashville.
Last fall, Brandy made the big move to Franklin, Tennessee from the Tampa bay area to pursue a music career. In March of 2013 Carmen recorded her 2nd EP in Sony Studios and was were blessed to have Ethan Pilzer (Big & Rich’s Bass player), Luke Bulla (Lyle Lovett’s Fiddle player) and Brock West and Jeff Smith of Phil Vassars band also played on her Ep. Her producer Andy Sheridan from Charliehorse Productions is currently touring with Hunter Hayes. Carmen’s new EP has just recently been released on Itunes.
“I’m very excited about all that’s been happening with my music career since moving to the Nashville area from Florida,” Brandy said. “I have met some incredible people and have worked with many established writers.” Brandy goes on to say “Living in Nashville has opened so many doors, I’m really looking forward to what the future holds!”
Brandy has performed all over the Tampa Bay area and Nashville, including BB’ Kings in Nashville & Orlando, The Bluebird Café, The Tennessee State Fair, Ruth Eckerd Hall Café for Alabama and Kellie Pickler, Safety Harbor Wine Festival and many, many more. Brandy has also performed at the Plant City Strawberry Festival, Sumter County Fair, Collier County Fair and most recently won the Largo Teen Idol.
Carmen Brandy also has performed at several charitable events for Cystic Fibrosis and Tunes for Tots. Brandy just recently placed in the top 15 Teens for the International Song Competition our of over 20,000 entrants! Also, Brandy performed during the 2014 CMA Festival in downtown Nashville.
