In the past few years, CoolSprings Galleria has made fine dining options available to shoppers with the opening of The Cheesecake Factory, Connors Steakhouse, Kona Grill and Kings Bowl. Soon, The Galleria will have another sit-down restaurant option for shoppers. Posted on the lower level, by the main elevator, is a sign stating: “California Pizza Kitchen-
Imagination in Progress.”
On the California Pizza Kitchen careers portion of the website, a position for Manager-New Hire-New Location was posted for Cool Springs location.
We reached out to the CoolSprings Galleria management for more information regarding the opening, but as of the writing of this article, had not received a callback. We also reached out to the California Pizza Kitchen corporate office for more information, but have yet to receive a reply.
The Franklin location will be the first Williamson County location for California Pizza Kitchen. Currently, there is one California Pizza Kitchen located in Nashville, in The Hill Center in Green Hills, which opened in 2007.
In 1985, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) opened its first restaurant in Beverly Hills and introduced diners to innovative California-style pizza. The restaurant is known for open-fire pizzas, made-to-order pastas, and hand-crafted cocktails. Presently, there are almost 300 CPK restaurants in 16 countries.
