Bring Spring Inside Your Home

We have officially entered SPRING and I don’t know anyone who isn’t excited for the change! The spring season ushers in a spirit of renewal and the promise of warmer days ahead.

As we raise our windows to enjoy the breeze, we often turn our attention towards refreshing our home décor. Heavy blankets and dark colors go away as we are drawn to lighter fabrics and soft, spring colors. It’s the perfect time to bring out the easter eggs, forsythia, pastels, floral centerpieces, stacked cake stands, and decorative birds & nests to warm our spaces.

Spring décor is typically inexpensive and easy to find. Dollar stores and yard sales are fabulous places to get ideas and find new décor. It’s a good time to pull out dessert stands, pastel plates, & colorful linens for the table. If you have a fall wreath on hand simply take it apart and add spring florals, eggs, ribbon, or a freshly painted wood monogram for your front door. Or pull out an old pair of rubber boots and create a spring arrangement with just flowers and burlap ribbon. Colorful, stacked cake stands make an easy but stunning centerpiece when you add natural elements like stems, nests, & pastel eggs.

The possibilities are endless. So take a look through your craft drawers, kitchen cabinets, or fall décor for inspiration. Check out Pinterest, HGTV, blogs, and decorating magazines for lots of ideas. Re-purpose and re-create something inspiring for the season!
