After taking its first win against Hendersonville (3-2) last week, the Bruins have done it again.  Dickson County traveled over to the blue-and-gold turf last night and were defeated 3-33 by Brentwood.

The Bruins defense had a total of eight sacks recorded on the Dickson County Quarterbacks and only allowed 28 yards total offensively for the Cougars.

Dickson County, now 0-5, was down 21-3 going into the second half.

Bruins quarterback Aaron Maher completed 6-out-of-10 for 107-yards and passed off two TDs for the blue and gold.

Into the second, junior and kicker Trace Halpern had a 36-yard field goal attempt, and Austin Wells ran it in 77-yards to complete the Bruins 33-points for the night.  The Bruins are now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in District 11.

Brentwood will make its way over to Oakland next week for a tough game ahead.  The following week, we will see them at rival Franklin High School for a big game.
