This summer has been an exciting time for The Store as construction is in full swing and on schedule, with a projected Winter 2020 open date barring any delays at its 2005 12th Avenue South, Nashville. location.

As the construction continues, The Store, has partnered with New Era Co. to offer exclusive The Store caps with a donation of $100. The $100 donation will feed a family of four for one month and you will receive a cap provided by New Era. Two exclusive The Store designs have been created of the company’s iconic 9TWENTY cap and all proceeds will go directly to The Store to feed individuals in Middle Tennessee.

“Partnerships, like New Era, give our supporters a chance to make meaningful financial contributions to The Store to make a difference for the families we serve,” said Gina Hancock, Executive Director.

About The Store

The Store was co-founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley with partnership with Belmont University, Brad’s alma mater. The Store, a year-round free grocery store will allow people to shop with dignity for their basic needs. Individuals and families will be referred by nonprofit and government agencies for a term of one year. There is no charge to those referred or to the people and agencies that send them. They may shop for food to supplement their income during times of crisis and as they work toward self-sufficiency.

The estimated cost of the building is $1.5 million for 4,000 square feet. To complete raising funds for The Store’s construction, the “Brick Campaign” has been launched. With a donation of $500 or more, donors will receive a personalized 4×8 brick that will create the sidewalk in front of The Store. There are a limited number of bricks. Donations are accepted via the website at www.thestore.org/brickcampaign.
