Blues Counsel & Special Guests Perform Friday at Puckett’s

On Friday night, February 17, at Puckett’s Grocery in downtown Franklin, Blues Counsel with take to the stage with special guests Dave Perkins, Eddie DeGarmo and Anadara.

Blues Counsel started in 1987 as the unnamed Jam Band for the Kingdom Bound Christian Music Festival outside of Buffalo, NY. Some members have played together since the mid-seventies and even the newest members of BC have been with the band for nearly 20 years. Each member has a rich musical history with Blues Counsel as their touch point, playing together as often as they can. Like close friends whose conversation always picks up where it left off, no matter how much time has passed.

Blues Counsel’s eclectic blend of Blues, Rock & a touch of Latin continues to deliver therapy for your soul through their recordings and live performances. Blues Counsel’s Slow Demolition is their 2017 offering preceded byMuscle Shoals Sessions, Live At The Ramp and their debut project Let The
Healing Begin. Member of Blues Counsel are: Rick Cua, Bass & Vocals, Tony Hooper, Guitar, Vocals &
Keys, Tom Lane, Guitar & Vocals, Will McFarlane, Guitar & Vocals, Tony Morra,
Drums, Emedin Rivera, Percussion.

Blues Counsel will be joined by special guest Eddie DeGarmo who was part of the Christian Band DeGarmo and Key for 20 years where he played the keyboards and sang back-up. He was also the founder of Forefront Records.

In addition to DeGarmo, Dave Perkins is also named as a special guest who is the current Associate Director, Religion in the Arts and Contemporary Culture at Vanderbilt’s Divinity School in Nashville and music industry veteran along with special guest Anadara.
