Ansbach Artisans Celebrates Local Talent Live in Gallery

Ansbach Artisans

Ansbach Artisans Fine Art Gallery in Franklin will feature the works of five local artists during the gallery’s monthly Saturday Night Live Art (SNL Art) event on March 26th. This month’s featured artists are Grant Cooley, David Vance, Laura Neal, Elaine Allen, and Carol Moon. All of the artists will be painting live in the gallery and will be showing and selling finished works. Jazz guitar will be played by guest musician Mel Deal. Join Ansbach Artisans on the last Saturday of the month from 6-9 p.m. for great sights and sounds. This unique art event is free, open to the public, and family friendly.

“We are excited to unveil 30 new paintings by Grant Cooley at March’s SNL Art,” said Ansbach Artisans owner Michael Phillips. “These pieces are part of his graphic heroes series and are sure to interest guests of all ages.”

Phillips opened Ansbach Artisans in May 2015 at 1974 Wilson Pike in Franklin. The former site of Jamison Market is now the home of a wonderful art gallery which features only original works by Middle Tennessee artists. The gallery is named for the city of Ansbach, Germany where Phillips served in the Army as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot.

SNL Art is on the final Saturday of each month and is open to visitors of all ages. Press is also welcome to attend. The next event takes place on March 26 from 6-9 p.m. Details of the event and accompanying photos can be found on the gallery website, AnsbachArtisans.com.
