All-Star Game Roster Riddled With Williamson County Talent

The ninth-annual Tennessee East-West Classic will be played December 11th at Tennessee Tech’s Tucker Stadium. Williamson County prep stars and a coach will represent the West team in the game.

On the offensive side of the ball, the West will be quarterbacked by two local stars, Independence’s Andrew Bunch and CPA’s Zack Weatherly. Ravenwood wide receiver Chris Rowland will be lined up outside for the West. Bunch and Weatherly will be protected by Centennial’s Nathan Wilkerson up front.

Defensively, Centennial’s Rasean McLemore will line up on the defensiveline. McLemore will be supported in the front seven by his Cougar teammate, linebacker Tyrel Dodson. In the secondary, Ravenwood’s Andrew Lutgens and FRA’s Larry Wilhoite will anchor the back end of the West’s defense.

The coaching staffs for both teams are made up of head coaches and a few assistants from Tennessee high schools. The West’s offensive coordinator for the game will be Ravenwood head coach Will Hester.

The game gives players one more chance to impress college scouts before this February’s National Signing Day, with many players going to play Division I football next season.
