7. Lockwood Glenn

Lockwood Glen, a single-family community in Franklin that features resort-style amenities and integrating nature, is getting a new section of 161 homes called Echelon at Lockwood Glen. The homes are currently under construction.

Much like the first phase, which was ready in 2014, Echelon will feature some of Nashville’s premier builders such as Mallard Homes, Ford Custom Classic Homes.  A builder not involved in the first phase, Stonegate Homes, will also be building.

Model and spec homes for Ford and Stonegate are expected to open by early fall. Mallard Homes is currently building in Lockwood Glen and has an open model and spec homes.

There will be four phases, with a variety of styles: townhomes, manor homes, executive homes and estate homes from the $300s-$600s. According to Lockwood Glen, the new section will be reminiscent of the classic American hometown, with the vernacular styles of historic Southern neighborhoods.

Classical and Federal styles are symmetrical, with the Classical having much more detail and ornamentation on the façade.[gap height=”20″]

Craftsman homes embrace simplicity and nature, often featuring handmade wooden details.[gap height=”20″]

English Tudor and French styles have an Old World feel and distinctive features, like exposed timbers and colored stucco.[gap hieght=”20″]

New Folk Victorian homes often have ornate details on the exterior façade and present a light, airy feel.[gap height=”20″]

Ford will build 34 manor homes, priced from the high $400,000’s to $600,000’s, and 52 townhomes starting in the mid $300,000’s. Mallard will build cottage and garden homes starting in the $400,000’s. Stonegate will construct the exclusive estate and executive homes starting at $650,000.

Construction has already started on a Residents’ Club, to have a saltwater pool, charcoal grill and farm table, fire pit, play lawn and amphitheater.

Lockwood Glen and Echelon at Lockwood Glen make up a picturesque community with a friendly, small-town feel located in desirable Williamson County off South Carothers Parkway. The initial phase, which was unveiled by Crescent in 2014, features resort-style amenities that encourage neighbors to come together to socialize and celebrate. At build-out, both sections combined will include 545 homes. Lockwood Glen also offers a variety of opportunities to enjoy nature, including a trail network, an 11-acre lake and 5 miles of Harpeth River Frontage.
