7 Places to See Fireworks This Fourth

Independence Day is just around the corner, which means its time for local firework shows. Check out our list of 2019 firework shows in and around Williamson County. Of note: several take place before the Fourth, so you have a chance to catch several firework shows!

1. City of Brentwood Red White and Boom Featuring Kadillacs

Grab your chairs and blankets, and bring your family to Brentwood’s largest concert of the year on July 4th at Crockett Park, 1500 Volunteer Parkway, Brentwood. The Kadillacs will be performing again this year, with a spectacular fireworks show to top off the night. No tickets required as this is a free to the public. Food trucks will also be in attendance beginning at 5 pm with the event ending at 10 p.

2. City of Franklin

Friends of Franklin Parks & City of Franklin Parks for a Fourth of July Celebration at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm 239 Franklin Road, Franklin. The City of Franklin Parks will be hosting a fireworks show, while the Friends of Franklin Parks will be hosting music, food and kids games in the Tractor Supply Co. Arena before the fireworks begin. Don’t miss Rubiks Groove perform in the TSC Arena at 7:00 p.m. Park opens at 5:00 p.m. Concessions from Lipman & Puckett’s will be available for purchase.

 

3. Westhaven Fireworks Event

On Wednesday, July 3 at the Westhaven Golf Club, 4000 Golf Club Lane, the Westhaven Foundation, HOA, and Westhaven Golf Club are joining forces for a community fireworks event that will include live music, food trucks, on-site beverage sales (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a spectacular fireworks show. The net proceeds will benefit the construction of Foundation Park to be located at the town center lake. The event begins at 6 p, live music at 7 p and fireworks at 9 p. Advance ticket prices are $10 adults, $5 for children, tickets at the door $15 adults, $10 children with children under 3 receive free admission.

4. 4th of July Extravaganza in Leipers Fork

This year, our Annual 4th of July Extravaganza at Grace Chapel, 3279 Southall Road, Franklin is going to look a little different – think family picnic with many more games for kids of all ages and later start time (6:30p) to avoid the surface-of-the-sun temps of July. As always, it’s a safe and family-friendly environment and at the end of the night they will have one of the best fireworks shows you will ever see. Fun begins at 6:30 p.

5. Nashville’s Free 4th of July Event

Brett Eldredge will headline Nashville’s July 4th celebration on Lower Broadway. Eldredge will be joined by Mac McAnally, and GRAMMY-nominated neo-soul/rock artist Jessy Wilson are part of the diverse, all Nashville-based lineup. In a new partnership, CMT will air a 90-minute live special that will include performances from Eldredge, highlights from Let Freedom Sing! and conclude with the acclaimed firework show.

After the concert, the event will shift to the Cumberland Riverfront with a firework show synchronized to a live performance by the Nashville Symphony. The program at Ascend Amphitheater will start around 9:30 p.m. and conclude with a 30-minute pyrotechnics show. The program will feature patriotic recitations from Barry Scott.

The Independence Day celebration will include a Family Fun Zone, with inflatables and other kid-friendly activities, from noon to 5 p.m. at Music City Walk of Fame Park and music begins at 5:45 p.

6. Town of Nolensville

On Saturday, June 29, the Town of Nolensville will hold its Star Spangled Celebration. Festivities take place at Nolensville Park on Nolensville Park Road and begins at 6 p. Food trucks on hand for the event include Outlander’s, Bruster’s, Little Cancun on the Go, Dough Box, Buns on the Run, Hearty Hog, Nana & Papa’s Concessions, Padrino’s Pops, Hibachi4Hire, Itty Bitty Donuts, Hoss’ Loaded Burger, Rolled 4 Ever Ice Cream, and Kettle Masters.

Music entertainment will be provided by Universal Crush with a fireworks display to take places after dark.

Rain date has been provided of 6/30 if the event needs to be rescheduled.

7. City of Fairview

The city will host an event on Wednesday, July 3 from 4 p – 10 p. All activities will take place at Fairview City Hall located at 7100 City Center Circle with the fireworks display to begin at 9 p. No pets or coolers allowed.
