Today, Thursday August 14th, 55 South and Red Pony Restaurant will donate 10% of food sales to pediatric cancer research. Red Pony Restaurant is the flagship of McConnell Hospitality Group, which also consists of 55 South, Cork & Cow, McConnell House, and Red Pony Catering. Owner & Executive Chef Jason McConnell and his wife Fran are excited and hopeful to generate funds for the worthy cause. Fran, a R.N. at Harpeth Pediatrics will run the NYC marathon this Fall with her best friend Melissa. The athletes are running in honor of “Fred’s Team” and funds will be directed to Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatric Cancer Research in New York City.
