What has been your proudest moment in high school?
My proudest moment would have to be the at the end of the first semester, during exams. Our physics teacher hadn’t provided our class with any study guide, so I decided to create my own. In the process of doing so, I cementing the information in my brain. Then I decided to share my study guide with my classmates so they could benefit from my knowledge. As it turns out, after the exam, I received a 111 out of a 108 possible points. I was so proud of myself partly because it was the highest grade I had ever gotten, but also because I realized that making my own study guide prepared me much better than anything I had tried in the past.

What advice would you give to freshman coming into your school?
I recommend that you find a passion and focus on that strength, and try to take Honors classes because the supportive teachers will prepare you for college. Also, play a sport or get involved so that you are not just doing homework, and make friends who you can laugh with and who will support you. Above all, prepare physically, mentally, and emotionally for Mrs. Faulk’s classes.

3

How has your school impacted your life?
Currey Ingram has greatly impacted my life in many ways.  I have gained more confidence academically and socially.  CIA enabled me to pursue my passions of tennis and photography.  Because of Currey Ingram, I learned how to advocate for myself, and I feel prepared to succeed in college.

4

What are your plans for the future(where will you go to college and what are your thoughts on what major to pursue)?
I plan to attend Lipscomb University in the fall and major in either Computer Science or Engineering. I am leaning more toward Computer Science because Lipscomb offers eleven majors in their new College of Computing and Technology.

Who was your favorite teacher and why? What course did they teach?
My initial response is all teachers and all classes were my favorites.  I truly benefited and enjoyed all my teachers and classes: Senora’s Spanish classes, Mr. Allen’s English and Photography, Mrs. Faulk’s World History, Mr. Kirk’s Physics, & Calculus, Dr. Week’s Chemistry, Mr. Matthews Literature, Mr. Kelly’s Cinematography & Music Theory, etc., and I really enjoyed and learned so much from other classes such as 3D printing & coding, Art Ethics, etc. Currey Ingram’s teachers and class choices allowed me to explore different topics which has also helped me get ready for college and finding  a career path.
