5. Graystone Quarry

concert-crop1-1500x837-77375This is a neat one. Not exactly the biggest project, nor will it affect your daily commute. But not every one has heard about this one, and construction is almost finished. So we wanted to include it on our list.

Graystone Quarry is a unique event property on 76 private pristine acres of reclaimed abandoned rock quarry in Thomspon’s Station. It includes a 15,000 square foot, 5,000 seat amphitheater, which makes it perfect as a venue for small, intimate concerts and its views and amenities make it perfect for a wedding or any other big event. As it’s Web site says, it is “the south of Nashville boutique music experience.”

It has already started to accept reservations for weddings starting in Fall of 2016.

Keep an eye on it, as it could quickly become the go-to venue for small concerts south of Franklin.
