1. Make-A-Thon: A Festival of Creativity

The library is partnering with businesses and artisans local to Williamson County to show you what is available in your own backyard.  Exhibitors include the Middle Tennessee Space Society, the Tennessee Association of Woodturners, Bricks 4 Kidz, and many more.  There’s something for everyone!

The festival will consist of live demonstrations, and hands on activities that will range from using robots to knitting, and from flying models to using Garage Band.  There will be crafts, including Lego construction, Origami, and take home art projects for patrons of all ages.  Be sure to see the Southern Academy of Irish Dance perform, too.  Several food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase throughout the festival.  You can even adopt an adorable pet from the Williamson County Animal Center’s mobile unit.

This event is free, open to the public, and fun for the whole family.
