Duplex Road Widening
This one made our list last week, but we have more information, so are adding it again.

The City of Spring Hill is continuing to acquire the 210 properties needed for the public right-of-way to widen Duplex Road from two to three lanes, including a sidewalk on one side of the roadway and a multi-use path on the other side. The project also includes installing traffic signals on Duplex at the intersections of Port Royal Road, Commonwealth Drive, Buckner Lane and Miles Johnson Parkway. Being a state roadway, TDOT will begin construction of the widening project in 2017.
In the beginning of April, the Tennessee Department of Transportation released its three-year plan. In it was money to fund this project, almost all the way to Interstate 65.
