10. Creamery

The creamery was a staple business of downtown Nolensville for nearly 30 years. Formed in 1921 by more than 200 area farmers, their goal was to “make butter as good as any in the world.” Before World War II broke out, it was chosen as a representative of the US in a national butter competition in Berlin.

Their slogan was “Better Dream Made into Better Butter.”

It shut down in 1957.

  1. I would love to know more about the Jordan family that owned the Mill. I used to wash my Doodle Bug in the creek behind the mill in the late 60’s.
