Kelsea Ballerini
NASHVILLE - "The Trouble with the Truth" (ABC/Mark Levine) KELSEA BALLERINI

Centennial High Alumni, Kelsea Ballerini had a very busy week during CMA Fest. She performed at Nissan Stadium, which was her first time performing in a stadium, she signed autographs with fans and held a Q&A, which we were lucky enough to attend. We learned a few things about Kelsea Ballerini that you might not know!

1.First album you purchased – “NOW” compilations – all of the hit songs from that year.

2.Favorite CMA Fest moment – Last year when I played on stage outside Bridgestone Arena where 4,000 people showed up.

3.Country Music Idol – Shania Twain,Taylor Swift and Faith Hill.

4.First time you heard your song on the radio-It was a year and a half ago. I was in Nashville and it was while I was in the car driving on the interstate. I heard the DJ on the country radio station say, “that was Luke Bryan and now for country newcomer Kelsea Ballerini.”

5.First Time to sing in public – I was really little, like six or seven and I starting singing on a cruise ship during karaoke- I walked up and took the microphone from the person singing  and starting singing ‘Amazing Grace.’

6.First  celebrity crush – Jonas Brothers

7.First Job  – Nanny and I worked at a cupcake shop but the rule was if you messed it up, you had to dispose of it but they didn’t tell us how, so I ended up having to start working out that summer from eating too many cupcakes!

Recently, Kelsea Ballerini surprised a fan at the Bluebird Cafe. Twelve year old, Landon Wall wrote a response song to ‘Peter Pan.’ Ballerini heard about the song and surprised him at the Bluebird.

Watch the video where Wall plays his version and then Ballerini comes out to play her original song.
